The quality is sensational! The poolside terrace, sense of peace, and service are unbeatable. We arrived at 4pm to eat and thought they wouldn’t serve us, but they did serve us and not only that but the service was incredible!
As a starter, we ate fried marinated fish and caramelized watermelon salad with duck breast and poppy seeds (sensational), and for the main course we had a shrimp paella and a watermelon sorbet with basil as a refreshing dessert. Everything was extraordinary! A sea of sensations! We’ll definitely go again!
As a lover of this area I have stayed in many hotels in Alicante, and last year at this one. Sorry to say that this hotel has closed, even with the nice spa and waterfront and the beautiful Montíboli Villajoyosa or Sidi Saler, what a mess! ...
To give you an idea, this place is behind the village, and by the auditorium. So it's a hotel more for an indoor beach or mountain. To do anything you need to take the car, unless you're a fan of long walks. This is a place where there is good service and details, although the decor is not gream, it is a shame there are decorative elements of bad taste. Putting rugs in the corridors of the hotels is critical to avoid hearing suitcases or heels. Take out the plastic flowers, the panels or carpets that have no function. The TV is tiny for a room of this size, and that was costly heating with air conditioner. In addition there should be a lift to the second floor which is where I had the room. In short, I think everything is easily remedied. The proper care and the menu very recomendable. Restaurante Tossal Altea Hotel
I couldn't stay at the Abaco Inn Hotel because I didn't know it existed, and also because I was staying at another establishment at the time. I found a lovely place with only 6 rooms that had a lot of care put into its decor, and it was also in the center of town. The breakfast table was beautifully prepared. Let's see if it doesn't take too long to try to send you all some pictures of the rooms!
The Hotel Altaya is a small and cozy hotel on the banks of the Mediterranean, about 10 meters away from the beach, in a little place that's tranquil and provides a perfect break. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the old town and it's close to services such as shops and restaurants as well as the Nautical Club of Altea. You can also enjoy the Restaurant L'Espigó (on the ground floor of the hotel), which has some of the best paella in Valencia on their balcony while you listen to the sea. Everyone in the community comes here to taste their delicious paella.
