Restaurants in El Nido
El Nido Boutique & Artcafe
(3)
This is the best coffee in El Nido and it offers good free WiFi for customers and a great atmosphere. You have to take off your shoes at the entrance. On the terrace in the evenings, there are a good number of travellers to talk to. When I say the best coffee, I not only mean the establishment, but also the coffee. It's really well prepared. It also works as a restaurant with a wide international menu.

Beikurtundmeitz Bar y Restaurante
(1)
The diversity of restaurants in white beach is overwhelming. In the 5km of beach you can find restaurants from a tapas bar to Italian to Korean, Chinese, etc., and this almost unpronounceable German name that has an international menu, including dishes from the Philipines, and the advantage that happy hour lasts until 8 pm with 50% cocktails and cheap beer.
Restaurants in Bacolod
Mang Inasal Restaurant
(2)
Mang inasal is a chain of affordable restaurants that are scattered all over the Philippines. The company's success comes from its barbecue chicken, a favorite dish of Filipinos in various shapes and forms and every one delicious. Unlimited rice with every serving. The grilled fish is also quite rich and the service is very attentive.
Restaurants in El Nido
Pukka Resto Bar
(6)
Pukka is a place with a lot of personality, as you can already see from the clearly Jamaican reggae style and decor with flags, marijuana leaves, and Bob Marley, the king. At night, it's one El Nido's liveliest places, and the prices are affordable, with freshly made fruit juices very good.

El nido Corner

Since it's at the end of the beach, it's very quiet. Divina and Ole Jakobsen, the owners, are very nice and the cooks prepare great seafood. I recommend the tuna, it was delicious. It's the perfect place to have a beer at sunset and dine leisurely few meters from the sea.
Restaurants in Manila
Max’s of Manila
(2)
The Max is a Filipino restaurant chain, although its appearance is fast food it really is very good quality. It is famous for a chicken recipe with their own salsa creation, and other Spanish-origin dishes like adobo or stew also are very good. When I went it was in the Malate zone, a backpackers area.

Suzhou Dimsum

The place is totally bland, but in its kitchen hides a little treasure, as all Chinese cuisine, and especially those of Taiwanese origin are great, I tried it the two times I went: the xiao long bao (dumplings) and beef noodle soup in Taiwan, and on the 2nd visit the rice with seafood and chicken dumplings. They serve you a tea that is free, as well.
Restaurants in Puerto Galera
White Beach Hotel
(1)
It's a Filipino family resort with aesthetics and a pretty good kitchen, cheap Red Horse beer and squid in coconut milk for 2€. It is on White Beach and the weekend is crammed with people because it is in the center of the action, but during the week it's pretty quiet.
Restaurants in Boracay
Shakey`s Restaurant
(1)
This looks like a typical fast food place, but the quality and variety of its menu goes far beyond as they have specialties from the Philippines like grilled chicken with special sauce, Korean dishes and huge vegetable soups, German dishes with frankfurkt, an enormous sausage, and perhaps best of all are the pizzas, thin, crisp and of many varieties.
Restaurants in Daanbantayan
Ging Ging Restaurant
(1)
Most resorts and restaurants in Malapascua are aimed at medium-high levels of tourists and therefore the prices are just as expensive. There is a great community in Malapascua of divers who work there, or are making their certifications as a divemaster/instructor and they all stop at the Gin-Gin's for breakfast for 1 €. Quality lunches and dinners are 3 € / 4 €.
Restaurants in Bagan
Nanda Restaurant
(1)
Restaurant with live entertainment in Bagan. Tradicional Daung-Lann dinner circular lacquered trays with rice in the center and surrounded by curries (plates of meat, fish, vegetables, soup, seafood, etc ...).Every night there are 2 shows at 18.30 h and 19.30 h, that lasts 45 minutes. Quite expensive. Beer is 3500 kyat. The restaurant is gorgeous. At night it's truly captivating with music, candles on the tables and colored lights around the place that represent an ancient temple. The menu is extensive but the prices are exorbitant. From 3000 kyat to 12,000 kyat. $ 3 $ -12. Obviously it's aimed at tourists and you pay for the show, but the puppets are really only worth while. There are colored lanterns and puppet shows. Very pretty. The signature dish, Lann Daung costs 8000 kyat, $ 8.
Restaurants in Puerto Galera
Gorgo Bar and Restaurant
(1)
This is a colourful place in the middle of the white sand beach with authentic Filipino food at local prices. A marinated chicken with rice costs about €2, and mango smoothies about 1 €, like the beer. They have two dining rooms, one in the restaurant, and one directly on the sand, which is the most enjoyable, but on the sand you have to put up with all vendors and masseurs offering their services.
Restaurants in Boracay
Christina`s Restaurant
(1)
This medium high priced restaurant is one of the most flirty in Boracay. It has an indoor dining room with AC and a terrace on the promenade and dining on the beach. The menu is international and varied, and the coffee is top quality, I had a delicious cappuccino.
Restaurants in Cebu
JCA Mr. Pizzaman
(1)
Although it is in fact a fast food restaurant, to my surprise both the pizzas and lasagna are very good, and the pizzas have sizes ranging from individual to the family size for 6. Apart from the traditional margarita, four cheeses, frutti di mare, the also have some thought for Filipinos with local products.
Restaurants in Moalboal
Silver Ray Bar and Restaurant
(1)
Moalboal has been a backpacker destination since the 90's, and although it has evolved quite a bit, you can still find reasonably priced places by the beach with very friendly staff. Silver Ray is one of these. It offers a fairly varied international cuisine and fresh fish every night which is laid out on a table at the entrance to the restaurant.
Restaurants in Moalboal
Chili Bar y Restaurant
(1)
Chili is one of the most popular restaurants in Moalboal. It has a terrace directly on the beach from which you have great views at sunset. An ecletic restaurant with chili con carne as their speciality, a more than aceptable dish. They play pretty good music, and also have a pool table.
Restaurants in Iloilo
Pengees Restaurante
(1)
Although roadside restaurants are usually not of great quality, Pengees is the perfect place for a stopover halfway between Caticlan and Iloilo, which is a long journey - 6 hours on the bus. The decor is quite nice with ethnic Filipino decoration, and the mainly barbequed food is made when you order it.
Restaurants in Puerto Princesa
Tribu View Deck Restaurant
(1)
Located on the third floor of the hotel Puerto Pension, this restaurant has ethnic decor and their most valuable asset is their views, since two of the walls are windows with beautiful panoramic views of the bay of Puerto Princesa. A basic breakfast is included in the price of the room, and the restaurant menu is not extensive but the fish dishes are fairly good.
