Nightclubs in Berlin
Week-End Club

If you like to party and you like good electronic music, I recommend visiting "Weekend" in the heart of Berlin, right on Alexander Platz. Once inside, you have 3 options: Floor 12, 15 or the roof (I recommend you check their website to see what you are going to find on the day you go). One of the most important clubs in the Berlin electronic scene, and also with an atmosphere and a stunning view of the city. Audience: It caters mostly to students (from 20-30 years) and oddly enough, most of them happen to be tourists.

For people who like electronic music, Techno and Minimal especially, this is a must if passing through Berlin. Berghain is a former power station which we had heard of before traveling to Berlin, so one afternoon we decided to take our bikes and start looking for it. We were told that the place was a little isolated and had to walk down a dirt road to get there, and it was. We got off at the metro station "Ostbahnhof" with our bikes and started pedalling until, after asking and looking foolish in front of a few Germans, we managed to find it. To enter the site they recommend not wearing a white shirt, no shoes, you will see people with piercings, tattoos, shoes, leather jackets. The man who guards the entrance decides whether you go or not (we trried at least 4 times and for being annoying he let us in). Once inside you will notice it is stunning. I had never seen such a place- a power plant adapted to be a place where you can listen to good music. It not somewhere with sophisticated decor since what matters is the sound, and I say that the sound is 10.

Speicher
(1)
Speicher is a disco club located next to the East Side Gallery, the largest piece of preserved wall in the city of Berlin. The disco is situated on four floors and there is a place for smokers outside. But the nicest thing is when they open the "beach". When you are on the beach with a cocktail it does not feel like you are in Berlin. Speicher has a restaurant that opens at 9 pm Tuesday through Saturday. They offer a light menu at noon until three. Admission is 5 euros for the club but women get free hasa midnight. It is prohibited to those under 16 years. The beach is open in the evenings and begins in early May.

Frannz Club
Whether or not you like techno, Frannz Club is pretty good. Of the 2 rooms, 1 is techno and 1 pop/rock music. It's part of the famous Kultur Brauerei so you can go from one club to another very easily without leaving the room, or you can sit outside and eat a wurst with a beer.
