We had been told it was near the Central Station, but we didn't realise how close it was - just a 3 minute walk away. The guy at the reception was very friendly and welcoming. We got our keys and went up to our room; to our surprise it was two floors, with very steep stairs. The bed was upstairs, the bathroom and closet below. It was a little uncomfortable, but not too bad. The best thing about the hotel is its location, close to everything (4 min from the Grand Place). The worst thing was the pillow, which was very uncomfortable. We asked to change them, but they brought us more of the same.
This is part of a network of hotels located around the centre of Brussels. They have really affordable prices, although Brussels is certainly not a cheap city. It's a bohemian hotel with a nice entrance, simple and clean rooms (small ... but what can you do?). The surroundings are beautiful, with a market nearby with antiques and vintage shops.
The Best Western County House of Brussels is conveniently found 20 minutes from Brussels International Airport and close to the train station. Hotel guests will also have access to the modern museum of ancient art, national forests and the concert hall Monnaie. This modern hotel offers charm, sophistication and comfort as well as bring equipped with all the amenities.
